GMAT Coaching for the Focus Edition
Focused, one on one prep for the current GMAT, built around Quant, Verbal and Data Insights.
What the GMAT Looks Like Today
The GMAT went through a major redesign with the Focus Edition, and it’s a noticeably shorter, more streamlined test than the version most people picture when they think of the GMAT.
There are three sections now, Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning and Data Insights, and all three are equally weighted, which is a real shift from the older format. Verbal has 23 questions in 45 minutes, Quant has 21 questions in 45 minutes, and Data Insights has 20 questions in 45 minutes. That’s 64 questions total, and the whole test runs about 2 hours and 15 minutes, close to an hour shorter than the previous version.
The scoring scale changed too. Your total score now falls between 205 and 805, in ten point increments, and each section is scored individually from 60 to 90 on the same scale, so the sections are easier to compare directly against each other.
Content-wise, grammar based questions have been dropped entirely, and geometry has been removed from the syllabus. In their place, Data Insights has grown into its own full section, testing how well you interpret data, spot patterns and reason through multi source information, skills that map closely to what business school and the workplace actually demand.
How We Coach It
Because grammar and geometry are gone and Data Insights carries real weight now, we make sure your prep reflects the current test rather than an outdated syllabus. That means real time on data sufficiency, multi source reasoning and the newer Data Insights question types, alongside the core Quant and Verbal skills.
Since all three sections count equally toward your score, we help you build a balanced plan instead of over investing in one area at the expense of the others, and we track your practice performance closely so you know where you stand heading into test day.
